Protection and T&C work rarely happens in ideal office conditions. It happens beside relay panels, inside substations, during shutdowns, before energisation, and in remote sites where internet access is limited or unavailable. Engineers often need to verify a CT ratio, review a fault record, check a test result, calculate a setting, or refer to a technical concept at the exact moment when the required file, software, or reference material is not easily accessible.
Most engineering tools are designed for office environments — stable internet, large screens, full software access, and enough time to analyse information comfortably. Fieldwork is different. Kanakeeti is developed from years of hands-on experience in protection relay testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and T&C reporting across substations and industrial plants. Kanakeeti began as a set of tools created to solve practical site problems faced by one engineer.
